Starting from the seventies. Daily life of a journalist. Before that writing stories and poetry in Little Magazine. There was no such attempt to be a reporter. But the day of becoming one turned the corner. With fame, the love for the profession increases. Who would want to turn back? But the dialogue of time is written in the words of reality.
After an era of journalistic life in Kolkata, I moved to Delhi in 1991. A break after 26 years in 2016. A complete career in political journalism. Kolkata again. Same profession, different institution. And a return to writing. My childhood and teen years were spent in Katihar. On the one side was Purnia's Rabindranath Tagore's friend Kedarnath Bandyopadhyay and the footsteps of writers of the other world Satinath Bhaduri. On the other side, were Monihari's gem Banaphool and Yogbani's Phanishwar Nath Renu.
