Dr. Partha Bandyopadhyay has lived in the USA for 35 years. He is a well-known face of the labor, immigrant, environmental and anti-war movements there. After getting a PhD in Biology from the University of Illinois, he left science and studied journalism and humanities at Columbia University. After working as a labor educator for a long time in an American labor union, he has now devoted himself fully to the work of author, public educator and human rights. He has published many books of prose, poetry and essays in Bengali and English. He is a favorite of world famous scholar Noam Chomsky. His analysis of cultural crisis and globalized economic aggression and his interview with Chomsky are available on YouTube and Facebook.
